NAHN Hispanic Health Policy Summit
February 9-11, 2023 | Washington, D.C.
The first Hispanic Health Policy Summit (HHPS) taking place February 9-11, 2023 at the Willard Intercontinental, in Washington DC, will combine the strengths of the nation’s leading Latinx focused nursing organization, the National Association for Hispanic Nurses, with other Latinx focused medical professional organizations, across all disciplines, to transform healthcare policy and accelerate the pace of research.
The NAHN HHPS unites the Latinx healthcare community to advocate for the health care issues affecting the Hispanic population and proposing potential solutions. National Association of Hispanic Nurses is excited to lead this new joint summit in partnership with other Latinx focused medical associations supporting the needs of the Latinx community.
The first day of this summit will focus on education and coaching for the Hill Day meetings. The second day is reserved for participants to attend those Hill Day visits with their local government representatives (meetings arranged by HHPS). The final half-day focused on discussing the results of those conversations. NAHN is currently applying for CEUs for the HHPS program.
