National Association of Hispanic Nurses: Speaking out, fighting for nurses, and fighting for our communities.
NAHN nurses have told their stories and made voices heard. Using mainstream media, our nurses have appeared on local and national news broadcasts, magazines. They’ve used their websites and social media pages, and developed PSAs and public affairs campaigns and made themselves heard.
Calls for Action
NAHN calls on The White House, Congress and federal & state officials for immediate action to protect and sustain nurses and all other front line providers so they can safely care for patients during the #COVID19 crisis. We stand with the heroes on the front lines of this pandemic.
Nurses, all health care providers and members of the public need resources for mental health, selfcare, information about COVID-19 and the status of Personal Protective Equipment and forecasting on what may be yet to come. The CDC offers ongoing guidance. Resources for assistance continue to evolve.
A little motivation goes a long way when it comes to surviving a crisis. Motivational messaging is available for sharing with nurses and the general public. From a simple “thank you” to tools you can use, we offer motivational messaging to show gratitude to those on the front lines You motivate others every day.
