NAHN needs to hold a Special Election to elect three representatives to serve on the Nominations Committee for what is left of the 2012-2014 Biennium in order to implement the recent Bylaws changes.
A virtual meeting to cover the process for nominating an individual to serve on the Nominations Committee took place via conference call/webinar on October 21, 2013 at 8:00pm ET. We are now inviting qualified voting members to submit their names to run for office for one of the three NAHN Nominating Committee slots.

Members are encouraged to self nominate for office by completing the required paperwork. Those whose name is submitted to the nominating committee in response to the Call for Nominations will be notified to accept nomination and complete the required paperwork.
All candidates must submit the required information by Friday, November 8, 2013. The Slate of officers will be presented to the NAHN Board of Directors and posted on the Internet by November 15, 2013. Campaign guidelines will be mailed to every member placed on the slate.
All completed nomination forms and required materials must be submitted electronically to the NAHN office by midnight ET Friday, November 8, 2013.
Duties. The Nominating Committee shall:
1. Recruit and prepare a slate of candidates, under strict, confidential protocols, to be elected at the Annual Meeting (even numbered years).
2. Recruit one candidate for each office to be elected by the Members, except for the office of President, unless there is a vacancy in the office of President- Elect. That office shall remain vacant until the next Biennial Meet ing at which time a candidate shall be recruited for the office of President-Elect.
3. Obtain a statement of consent to serve and their qualifications for office; and
4. No later than ninety (90) days prior to the Biennial Meeting, forward the slate of candidates to the Corporation Secretary to place on the website
