NAHN Welcomes Pfizer Inc as a NAHN Corporate Member

Washington, DC (February 14, 2013) — The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), a non-profit professional association committed to the promotion of the professionalism and dedication of Hispanic nurses, is pleased to announce that Pfizer Inc has joined NAHN as a Corporate Member. This relationship will give NAHN the opportunity to further contribute to the Hispanic community by improving healthcare access for all.

“NAHN is pleased to welcome Pfizer with whom we have a longstanding partnership to the NAHN family,” said Jose Alejandro, PhD(c), RN-BC, MBA, CCM, FACHE, president of NAHN, who explained how Pfizer and NAHN have worked together over the past five years to create and distribute health guides for the uninsured and underinsured, among other initiatives geared toward facilitating access to healthcare to all who need it.

NAHN is actively involved in issues affecting Hispanic nurses and the health of Hispanic communities on local, state, regional and national levels. The organization is committed to work toward providing equal access to education, professional and economic opportunities for Hispanic nurses and to improving the health and nursing care for Hispanic consumers.
